BEHIND THE CAMERA
It’s been an interesting journey all the way through my photography life experience. My move from Slovakia to England made my photography dreams come true… Starting with Nikon camera taking photos of the friends, family, anything what caught my eye and then messing around in Photoshop. Technical part of photography is really my thing and in 2010 I opened a professional photographic studio and converted a hobby photography into my job – I became a Pro Photographer.
Controlling the light and mastering my skills in studio lighting opened new photography “doors” for me such as studio portrait, product & boudoir photography. Later on I extended my skills in wedding, school, commercial & event photography plus was organising photography courses and teaching photography as a subject.
When smartphones made a fast turn in photography industry my direction changed into property photography, which became my new and possibly the longest photography venture. Essential upgrade to aerial photography and becoming the only one licensed UAV operator in the area kept me going for another 4 years. Over 2000 properties were photographed and a nice collection of natural blue sky was gathered during this period, which is now available to purchase.
The current world situation forced me to make a decision to leave England after 14 years and move back to homeland, where I keep walking my photography path and working on new projects.
One day, when I have amassed my fortune, I hope to retire to a cottage in the middle of nowhere, where I can talk away to a menagerie of pets and finally learn how to play the piano…
